The Treasure Box

The Treasure Box is currently closed for both shopping and donations.

Upcoming Sale! On Saturday, June 12, 2021, the Treasure Box will host a sale in the church courtyard at 132 W. Boscawen Street. It will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine. Shoppers will be able to fill a bag for $5. Cash or checks only, sales tax is included.

We hope that the shop will be able to reopen soon and, at that time, we will be able to again take donations. As always, thanks to all of you who support the shop by volunteering, shopping and donating!

The Treasure Box, located on the first floor of the Smith Building, accepts donations of clothing and household items for resale within the community. The proceeds are distributed annually to local agencies and organizations such as CCAP and the Winchester Day Nursery. This shop was established in 1959 and moved to its current location in 2000. Donations are accepted any time.

Items we gladly accept: clothing, shoes, household items, linens, glassware, art, decorative objects, jewelry, books and magazines

Items we do not accept: large appliances, computers & accessories, furniture, firearms, underwear, prescription glasses, personal hygiene items, cosmetics/bath products (unless unopened), medications

Join our family of volunteers!

One of the benefits of becoming a volunteer in the Treasure Box is getting to know and working with a great group of ladies! You may work as little as one shift per month or as much as once a week, if you like. You may choose to be trained either as a cashier or a marker. Shifts are only 3 hours each: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
