2015 Newsletters:

  • December 2015 - Advent is a busy time at Christ Church, despite our best endeavors to be quiet and prayerful as we prepare for Christmas!

  • November 2015 - In November, we think about stewardship and preparing for Advent. We celebrate the restoration of the organ. And, we learn about opportunities in our local community for outreach.

  • October 2015 - As fall starts, we begin our stewardship campaign. Look for stories of generations of generosity at Christ Church. It's also the month for the Blessing of the Animals, the health fair, and what has become a HUGE event here - the annual rummage sale! Get all the details here!

  • September 2015 - The program year kicks off this month with options for Christian Formation for all ages! We also look forward to an interesting Community Fellowship meeting on Sept 10 and our visit from the Bishop on Sept 20.

  • August 2015 - As summer winds down, learn about Christian Formation programs for fall and a few end-of-summer events to enjoy!

  • July 2015 - It's summer and our rector is on sabbatical, but there are still things happening at Christ Church! The organ renovation project has begun. Vacation Bible School is in July and there's a bluegrass concert coming up!

  • June 2015 - As the program year wraps up, we prepare for an unusual summer - organ renovation, rector's sabbatical, earlier start to Christian Formation in August. But we also will have services as usual, with different music and a variety of preaching! And, we will have vacation bible school in July and opportunities for fellowship. Happy summer!

  • May 2015 - It's May - time for retreats. Plus, a new outreach program for summer, VBS info, an update on the organ restoration project, and more.

  • April 2015 - As we celebrate Easter and spring in Winchester, Webster reminds us about opportunities to serve the youngest members of our congregation. We have a new Adult Forum topic for the Easter Season and it's time to register for parish weekend at Shrine Mont. Plus, catch up on spring news from all the committees!

  • March 2015 - As Lent begins, there is much happening at Christ Church to prepare for Easter. Get details about Lenten programs and service times. There are some FAQs included as we move closer to our organ restoration project, including information about the financing of the work. We even look ahead to spring and summer too with dates for our parish weekend, Shrine Mont summer camps, VBS and more!

  • February 2015 - Learn about the complex organ restoration that is now underway and how you can help. The rector talks about sabbatical and there are Christian Formation offerings as we get ready for Lent later in the month.

  • January 2015 - We begin 2015 with a wonderful Epiphany service and preparations for our annual meeting in February. The issue holds many suggestions for ways to become involved in ministries at Christ Church.
